Bryce Harper stuck these emoji decals on his bat to prove that he keeps it 100

It remains to be seen whether Harper uses one of his emoji-emblazoned bats in a game. (Update: He used one on Monday.)

Last month, CSN Bay Area’s Alex Pavlovic reported that MLB informed teams at the winter meetings that players were 🚫 to use personalized bat decals, which players apparently think is total 💩.

The Giants had several players who used personalized decals on their bats, including Matt Duffy. The third baseman used an image of Duffman from “The Simpsons” for the last two years, but appears to have transitioned to a standard Giants decal with his No. 5 this season, perhaps to avoid being fined 💵💵💵💵.

Meanwhile, Diamondbacks outfielder David Peralta has been sticking it to the man, using a decal with his “Freight Train” nickname on his bats this season. Keep an eye on Harper’s bat knob on Monday.

Harper told reporters on Tuesday that he hadn’t heard from MLB about the decals.
