Composting: New York City’s Trash Solution
September 26, 2022Jessica Tisch, New York City Department of Sanitation Commissioner, joined MetroFocus to discuss the launch of the nation’s largest curbside composting program. Beginning October 3, 2022, all residential buildings in Queens will start to receive a weekly collection of leaf and yard waste, food scraps, and food-soiled paper products.
